Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hot Springs: Yavapai Co. Arizona by Maxfield Parrish was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 375,000.00 (€ 315,179.02). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maxfield Parrish achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hilltop in November last year with an auction result of USD 6,660,000.00 (€ 6,451,612.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hot Springs: Yavapai Co. Arizona von Maxfield Parrish kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 375.000,00 (€ 315.179,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maxfield Parrish erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hilltop im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.660.000,00 (€ 6.451.612,90).
