Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Quartett by Max Oppenheimer. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,867.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Oppenheimer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zahnarzt (The dentist) in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 237,500.00 (€ 275,263.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Quartett von Max Oppenheimer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.867,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Oppenheimer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zahnarzt (The dentist) im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 237.500,00 (€ 275.263,04).
