Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Ranger" by Max Mikael Book was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,096.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Max Mikael Book have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Cumulus" in October 2018 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,290.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Ranger" von Max Mikael Book wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.096,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Mikael Book auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Cumulus" im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 19.290,50).
