Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Singoland" by Max Mikael Book was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 125,000.00 – 150,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 120,000.00 (€ 11,369.45). Other works by Max Mikael Book have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2018 by the work "Cumulus" at SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,290.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Singoland" von Max Mikael Book im November 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 125.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 120.000,00 (€ 11.369,45) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Max Mikael Book wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2018 die Arbeit "Cumulus" mit SEK 200.000,00 (€ 19.290,50).
