Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,878.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matthew Monahan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morning Thaw in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 92,000.00 (€ 59,125.96).
