Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Masahisa Fukase achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2015. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Kanazawa, (SP-025) sold for USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,871.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Masahisa Fukase - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cape Erimo from Ravens, which sold at auction in May 2016 for GBP 93,750.00 (€ 122,333.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Masahisa Fukase erzielte im November 2015 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Kanazawa, (SP-025) für USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.871,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Masahisa Fukase mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cape Erimo from Ravens beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für GBP 93.750,00 (€ 122.333,86) versteigert wurde.
