Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mary Weatherford could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Wicca changed hands for USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,727.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Weatherford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coney Island in September last year with an auction result of USD 478,800.00 (€ 489,420.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mary Weatherford konnte im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
