In the American Art auction, the work The Houses That Jack Built (Once Upon A Time) changed hands for USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,558.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marvin Dorwart Cone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stone City Landscape in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 752,500.00 (€ 578,401.23).
