In the American Art auction, the work Barn Group Near Marion (Farm Group Near Marion #2) changed hands for USD 118,750.00 (€ 104,875.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marvin Dorwart Cone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stone City Landscape in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 752,500.00 (€ 578,401.23).
