The price achieved of USD 100,000.00 (€ 76,994.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marvin Dorwart Cone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stone City Landscape in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 752,500.00 (€ 578,401.23).
