Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Wat Bo Sunset" by Martin Wickström. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,828.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Wickström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Moondance" in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 390,000.00 (€ 42,745.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Wat Bo Sunset" von Martin Wickström zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.828,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Wickström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Moondance" im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 390.000,00 (€ 42.745,60).
