In the 20TH CENTURY SELF-TAUGHT AND OUTSIDER ART auction, the work Untitled (Double Train) sold for USD 71,700.00 (€ 66,765.99) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martín Ramírez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Tunnels and Train), 1950s, which sold at auction in January 2021 for USD 187,500.00 (€ 154,511.74).
