In the Contemporary Day Auction auction, the work (I) Untitled Portrait (Ii) Study For Genre Painting - Remote Control (Iii) Untitled Portrait (Yellow Jumper) (Iv) Untitled Portrait changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 880.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Maloney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled Portrait (Jerry) in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,419.50).
