Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Studio Flowers #32 by Martin Maloney was auctioned at Christies in Brussels in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,512.00 (€ 1,736.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Maloney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled Portrait (Jerry) in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,419.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Studio Flowers #32 von Martin Maloney kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in Brüssel zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.512,00 (€ 1.736,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Maloney auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled Portrait (Jerry) im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.419,50).
