Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ring Wake by Mark Tansey was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 277,200.00 (€ 232,005.36). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Tansey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Source Of The Loue in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 7,453,600.00 (€ 6,386,975.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ring Wake von Mark Tansey kam im November 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 277.200,00 (€ 232.005,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Tansey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Source Of The Loue im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.453.600,00 (€ 6.386.975,15).
