Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Christies in New York held the auction The Collection of Thomas & Doris Ammann: Online, which included the work Entrant (Study II) by Mark Tansey. The price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,589.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Tansey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Source Of The Loue in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 7,453,600.00 (€ 6,386,975.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Collection of Thomas & Doris Ammann: Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Entrant (Study II) von Mark Tansey zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.589,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Tansey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Source Of The Loue im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.453.600,00 (€ 6.386.975,15).
