Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unique Chair by Mark Brazier-Jones was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,928.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Mark Brazier-Jones have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2018 the work 'Atlantis' Chair was auctioned for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,404.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unique Chair von Mark Brazier-Jones kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.928,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Mark Brazier-Jones konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2018 die Arbeit 'Atlantis' Chair für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.404,37) versteigert.
