Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lyra Console by Mark Brazier-Jones was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 2,142.00 (€ 2,361.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mark Brazier-Jones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Atlantis' Chair, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,404.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lyra Console von Mark Brazier-Jones kam im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.142,00 (€ 2.361,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Für andere Arbeiten von Mark Brazier-Jones mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Atlantis' Chair beobachtet, die im März 2018 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.404,37) versteigert wurde.
