This work without title by Mark Bradford was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 12,494.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Bradford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Helter Skelter I in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 8,671,500.00 (€ 9,872,981.37).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mark Bradford kam im März letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 12.494,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Bradford erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Helter Skelter I im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.671.500,00 (€ 9.872.981,37).
