A top price for Mark Barrow - as previously expected
The work BGR by Mark Barrow was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,071.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, BGR is the most expensive artwork by Mark Barrow that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit BGR von Mark Barrow kam im April 2016 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.071,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist BGR das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mark Barrow, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
