Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Marius Bercea achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2017. In the Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Riviera of Restless Shining 4 sold for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,986.57) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marius Bercea - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sundown, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,729.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marius Bercea erzielte im März 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Riviera of Restless Shining 4 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.986,57) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marius Bercea mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sundown beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.729,25) versteigert wurde.
