Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Mujer Degollando Un Gallo by Mariano Rodríguez. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,455.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mariano Rodríguez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pelea de gallos in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,087,500.00 (€ 1,028,077.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mujer Degollando Un Gallo von Mariano Rodríguez zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.455,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mariano Rodríguez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pelea de gallos im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.087.500,00 (€ 1.028.077,14).
