In November 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Flores by Mariano Rodríguez. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 19,877.80), 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mariano Rodríguez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pelea de gallos in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,087,500.00 (€ 1,028,077.14).

Im November 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flores von Mariano Rodríguez zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 19.877,80) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mariano Rodríguez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pelea de gallos im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.087.500,00 (€ 1.028.077,14).
