Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Gladiola Window Rgb #3 by Mariah Robertson. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,408.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mariah Robertson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 117, which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,347.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gladiola Window Rgb #3 von Mariah Robertson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.408,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mariah Robertson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 117 beobachtet, die im September 2016 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.347,57) versteigert wurde.
