Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mariah Robertson could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Phillips x Artsy Summer School auction, the work 155 changed hands for USD 2,250.00 (€ 2,021.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mariah Robertson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 117 in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,347.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mariah Robertson konnte im Juli 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Phillips x Artsy Summer School wechselte die Arbeit 155 für USD 2.250,00 (€ 2.021,56) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mariah Robertson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 117 im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.347,57).
