In the 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction, the work Untitled (Horizontally on Two Crutches) sold for USD 375,000.00 (€ 340,321.26) - well above the upper estimate of USD 200,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maria Lassnig; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Competition III sold at auction in November 2019 with the realized price of USD 704,000.00 (€ 638,896.45).
