Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Kampfgeist I by Maria Lassnig. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 450,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 474,800.00 (€ 553,265.43). Other works by Maria Lassnig have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 704,000.00 (€ 638,896.45) in November 2019 for the work Competition III.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kampfgeist I von Maria Lassnig zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 450.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 474.800,00 (€ 553.265,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Maria Lassnig haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 704.000,00 (€ 638.896,45) im November 2019 für die Arbeit Competition III beobachtet.
