Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Maria Lassnig achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2019. In the 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction, the work Anlehnungsbedürftig sold for USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,376.17) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Lassnig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Competition III in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 704,000.00 (€ 638,896.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Maria Lassnig erzielte im November 2019 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session wurde die Arbeit Anlehnungsbedürftig für USD 50.000,00 (€ 45.376,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Lassnig erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Competition III im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 704.000,00 (€ 638.896,45).
