The work Libro Dei Telai by Maria Lai was sold in the Mapping Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in February 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 37,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Admittedly, works by Maria Lai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lenzuolo (Bed Sheet) in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 169,153.72).

Die Arbeit Libro Dei Telai von Maria Lai wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Mapping Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 37.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maria Lai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lenzuolo (Bed Sheet) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 169.153,72).
