Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Foglio 70 by Maria Lai was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2021. The price achieved of EUR 20,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 24,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maria Lai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lenzuolo (Bed Sheet) in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 169,153.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Foglio 70 von Maria Lai kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 20.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 24.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maria Lai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lenzuolo (Bed Sheet) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 169.153,72).
