The work Autobiografia 118 by Maria Lai was sold in the Women in art auction at Christies in Paris in June 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 18,750.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Admittedly, works by Maria Lai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lenzuolo (Bed Sheet) in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 169,153.72).

Die Arbeit Autobiografia 118 von Maria Lai wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Women in art bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maria Lai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lenzuolo (Bed Sheet) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 169.153,72).
