Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Marcos Grigorian was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London auction at Christies in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 45,139.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcos Grigorian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horizontal & Vertical Earthwork each panel 188 x 188 cm in June last year with an auction result of USD 315,375.00 (€ 301,246.54).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Marcos Grigorian wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 45.139,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcos Grigorian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horizontal & Vertical Earthwork each panel 188 x 188 cm im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 315.375,00 (€ 301.246,54).
