Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Instrument by Marcelo Bonevardi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,064.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcelo Bonevardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Habitat, which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 62,400.00 (€ 46,153.85).

Die Arbeit Instrument von Marcelo Bonevardi kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.064,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcelo Bonevardi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Habitat beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für USD 62.400,00 (€ 46.153,85) versteigert wurde.
