Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Eden Blu by Marcello Lo Giudice. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,900.13), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marcello Lo Giudice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orange - Yellow Sun in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eden Blu von Marcello Lo Giudice zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.900,13) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcello Lo Giudice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Orange - Yellow Sun im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
