Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Eden Blu by Marcello Lo Giudice. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 18,030.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Marcello Lo Giudice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orange - Yellow Sun in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eden Blu von Marcello Lo Giudice zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 18.030,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcello Lo Giudice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Orange - Yellow Sun im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
