The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 20,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at USD 73,080.00 (€ 68,101.76). This high result makes Eyes on the Gold II (Power Series II) the most expensive artwork by Marcellina Akpojotor that we have observed at auctions so far.
