Sold at the estimate price
In June 2017 Ketterer in Munich held the auction Kunst nach 1945 II, which included the work Millenni di Solitudine by Mark Kostabi. The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Mark Kostabi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Accumulation in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 28,800.00 (€ 21,301.78).
Zuschlag beim Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2017 führte Ketterer in München die Auktion Kunst nach 1945 II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Millenni di Solitudine von Mark Kostabi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.500,00 entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mark Kostabi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Accumulation im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.800,00 (€ 21.301,78).
