Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year VAN HAM held the auction Spotlight: Contemporary | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work "The Sphere of Intuition". by Mark Kostabi. The price achieved of EUR 1,056.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Kostabi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accumulation in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 28,800.00 (€ 21,301.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion Spotlight: Contemporary | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit "The Sphere of Intuition". von Mark Kostabi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.056,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Kostabi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accumulation im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.800,00 (€ 21.301,78).
