Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Ammunition by Mark Kostabi was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in December 2014. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,200.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 900.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Kostabi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accumulation in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 28,800.00 (€ 21,301.78).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Ammunition von Mark Kostabi wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.200,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 900,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Kostabi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accumulation im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.800,00 (€ 21.301,78).
