Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2014 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Seeing blind by Mark Kostabi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,200.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Kostabi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accumulation in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 28,800.00 (€ 21,301.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seeing blind von Mark Kostabi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.200,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Kostabi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accumulation im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.800,00 (€ 21.301,78).
