Auction result well in line with expectations
The work sit-in by Manfred Pernice was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in June 2012. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,382.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manfred Pernice - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kaskel Treff, which sold at auction in July 2021 for EUR 32,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit sit-in von Manfred Pernice wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.382,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Manfred Pernice mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kaskel Treff beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für EUR 32.500,00 versteigert wurde.
