Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online: NYC, which included the work Untitled Three Works, 2005 by Manfred Pernice. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,067.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manfred Pernice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kaskel Treff in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 32,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Online: NYC durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled Three Works, 2005 von Manfred Pernice zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.067,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manfred Pernice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kaskel Treff im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.500,00.
