Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Contemporary Passions, which included the work Garten-Gartenarbeit (Garden-Gardening) by Manfred Pernice. The price achieved of EUR 15,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manfred Pernice - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kaskel Treff, which sold at auction in July 2021 for EUR 32,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Contemporary Passions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Garten-Gartenarbeit (Garden-Gardening) von Manfred Pernice zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Manfred Pernice mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kaskel Treff beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für EUR 32.500,00 versteigert wurde.
