The work OL @ Morning by Maki Hosokawa was sold in the Asia+ / First Open auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 15,012.57), 47% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maki Hosokawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Campbell'S Da Vinci Soup (Painted In 2021) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 348,000.00 (€ 355,376.09).

Die Arbeit OL @ Morning von Maki Hosokawa wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Asia+ / First Open bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 15.012,57) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maki Hosokawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Campbell'S Da Vinci Soup (Painted In 2021) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 348.000,00 (€ 355.376,09).
