Upper estimate price exceeded by 42 %.
The work acrylic and collage on canvas by Maki Hosokawa was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in November 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 113,400.00 (€ 12,608.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maki Hosokawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Campbell'S Da Vinci Soup (Painted In 2021) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 348,000.00 (€ 355,376.09).

Die Arbeit acrylic and collage on canvas von Maki Hosokawa kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 113.400,00 (€ 12.608,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maki Hosokawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Campbell'S Da Vinci Soup (Painted In 2021) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 348.000,00 (€ 355.376,09).
