Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Alice in Bisshi Biwa-lake Boat Race by Maki Hosokawa was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,423.50). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maki Hosokawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Campbell'S Da Vinci Soup (Painted In 2021) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 348,000.00 (€ 355,376.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Alice in Bisshi Biwa-lake Boat Race von Maki Hosokawa kam im November 2019 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.423,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maki Hosokawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Campbell'S Da Vinci Soup (Painted In 2021) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 348.000,00 (€ 355.376,09).
