The work Skyscraper Ramen by Maki Hosokawa was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in May 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,014.35), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maki Hosokawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Campbell'S Da Vinci Soup (Painted In 2021) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 348,000.00 (€ 355,376.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Skyscraper Ramen von Maki Hosokawa wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.014,35) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maki Hosokawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Campbell'S Da Vinci Soup (Painted In 2021) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 348.000,00 (€ 355.376,09).
