A top price for Mahonri Young - as previously expected
The work The Knockdown by Mahonri Young was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. It changed hands for a price of USD 87,500.00 (€ 70,348.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Knockdown is the most expensive artwork by Mahonri Young that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Knockdown von Mahonri Young kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 70.348,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Knockdown das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mahonri Young, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
