Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Right To The Jaw by Mahonri Young. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 56,250.00 (€ 39,127.71). Other works by Mahonri Young have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 87,500.00 (€ 70,348.93) in November 2014 for the work The Knockdown.

Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Right To The Jaw von Mahonri Young zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 56.250,00 (€ 39.127,71) einen neuen Besitzer.
