Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work The Stone Cart by Mahonri Young. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,023.31), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mahonri Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Knockdown in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 70,348.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Stone Cart von Mahonri Young zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.023,31) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mahonri Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Knockdown im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 70.348,93).
